When using an RGU laptop and you are connected to the VPN global protect service you should then be able to see in file explorer your assigned network drives.
H: S: O: and R: drive
(not all users have access to the R: drive (research drive)
When you are missing your drive letters or it is not able to connect make sure that the vpn is enabled in the traybar (next to the clock)
You can also reconnect to the network drives by running the network connect script:
right click start menu and then click run
type in (or copy) the following:
C:\ProgramData\intune-drive-mapping-generator
and then hit enter, which will then open a file explorer and show that folder.
In that folder you will see four files and then you can right click the DriveMapping file and then click:
Run with powershell
and that will start a script that will try to remap all your network drives
when it is finished you should see them all back again in the file explorer.
