Stata is a Data Analysis and Statistics software that is used by ABS and is available via Intune or VM.


If a student requests access to Stata, we require the following:

  • Student name & number.
  • Approval from an ABS member of staff.
  • If using an RGU device, we will require the device name.
  • Otherwise we need to know if they are using a personal device.


Personal Device 


For a personal device, EUC will need to create a VM for the student e.g. PCVMSTATA4 that they can access via Citrix.


RGU Device


For an RGU device the student must be added to MDM_Win10_U_Apps_STATA group in Intune.


Documentation


Licencing for Stata is handled manually so the excel spreadsheet in the Software List must be updated as each user has their own key.
