Citrix Virtual Desktop
To launch Citrix Virtual Desktops, follow these steps:

Open up your Citrix Workspace app - ( If you do not have Citrix Workspace already installed see : Connecting to Citrix Workspace (MyApps) On Personal Devices - Win10/11 and Mac : IT Service Desk (rgu.ac.uk) )

Click on Desktop tab in middle of the screen.

You will see the list of all the desktops that are available to you.

On the next screen you will see the below.

Click on the RGU Virtual Desktop icon
- This will open a new window that is our remote desktop from RGU.

You may be asked for permission to your drive as below
- Allow Read/write access so that everything will work correctly.
- This will open a new window that is our remote desktop from RGU.
What is a virtual desktop (VD) for short; is a workstation existing in a virtual form, separate from the physical devices that use it.
The key points about virtual desktops:
A virtual desktop provides a preconfigured view of operating systems and applications.
