The location and appearance of items may vary from room to room, please take a moment to orientate yourself before starting.


  • This room has a standard monitor, display screen and House PC.
  • Users can connect to the display screen using the connections provided.
  • You can connect your device using the HDMI connection provided.


Turning the system on


Use the Control Panel to turn the system on.

Press the ON button. It may take a moment to load.


Remember to turn OFF the Control Panel when leaving the room.

House PC


If there is no display on the screen after selecting PC on the control panel please ensure that the PC is powered on. The PC is located behind the screen to the left.

Bring Your Own Device (BYOD)

To connect your device to the display use the appropriate cable from those supplied, typically an HDMI or supplied adaptor.


Note: The in-room camera and mic can be used on your own device as well as house PC if you connect the USB as well.

The shortcut Windows Key + P will give you the option to choose a presentation display mode.

This shortcut can resolve blue screen issues on start-up when using your own device.

Camera Control

 

The camera is set to cover the table and auto frame the participants but users can moves the camera using the remote control via the up, down, left, right controls or the pre-sets.

Microphone Control

The microphone is built into the camera bar which automatically activates when selected.

Using Apps (Teams, Panopto etc.)

You may need to check the setting menu to ensure you are using the in-room camera, microphone and speakers.

Audio settings can be checked in the bottom right of the screen and resembles a speaker.

To test App connections are working correctly use the Panopto Self View and Teams Test Call feature.

Exiting the session


Please either select restart and not shutdown when logging off of the House PC this will mean it remains on for the next user


Use the Power Down / OFF button to shut down the system.
