RGU hold an Educational Licence for Zoom which consists of a tenancy with RGU email addresses only. If a user has setup a personal account using their RGU email they will be asked to consolidate into our tenancy when they first login. They can be added later if required but do not have to be part of our tenancy unless they wish to use our licences (where eligible). Licences are as follows:
Staff - Licenced
Students (Current) - Licenced
Alumni - Basic (40 min limit free version)
Non RGU Account - Not allowed on our tenancy (although can be invited to RGU meetings)
A licenced user has no time limit on their Zoom meetings and can use all functionality allowed on the tenancy (transcription, recording etc)
Webinars over 100 users - Purchased on request and paid for by dept.
