Printing Charges:
Charges applied are to cover the cost of running the service, which the university strives to keep as low as possible.
Colour prints costs significantly more than black and white. Please note that you will be charged the colour rate when you select the colour option even if your file is black and white.
Full printing charges can be viewed here: https://www.rgu.ac.uk/it-service-desk/print-copy-scan
Printing Selection - Duplex and Black and White by Default:
The default setting on printers is “Duplex printing” and "Black and White" on all devices. The means that your printout will print on both sides of a sheet of paper.
If you wish to print only on one side of paper or in colour you must alter your print options at the time you are sending your file to print.
Duplex Photocopying is not currently available.
Paying for Printing and Photocopying:
Payment must be done in advance of printing and you must have sufficient funds in your account to cover the whole cost of a print out. Any money you pay for printing will be attached to your login ID, and as you print, your print 'balance' is reduced by the appropriate amount.
Adding credit to your printing and photocopying account:
Information on adding print funds can be viewed here - Uniflow - Adding Print Funds : IT Service Desk (rgu.ac.uk)
Checking your Printing Account:
You can check your account via Uniflow Dashboard - https://rgu.uk.uniflowonline.com/#Dashboard/
No Printing Refunds:
Please be aware that there are no refunds. If you have £2 worth of printing remaining in your account at the end of your final year with the university, there is no mechanism to return the £2 to you.
Please take care not to pay too much into your account as you near the end of your course.
